Since 2004 he has worked one-on-one with clients to plan and implement their race training. He coaches beginners and elites alike, from first races to world championships.<\/li>\n<li>His clients have completed more than 400 races &#8211; triathlons, duathlons, marathons, 5\/10Ks, and ultra-distance events \u2013 achieving All-American status, top AG finishes at worlds, iron- and half iron-distance events, and podiums in many local races.<\/li>\n<li>John prides himself on the results his athletes achieve, their year-over-year improvements, and that the majority train with him for multiple seasons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Classes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>John has been the head swim coach for <a href=\"http:\/\/jackrabbitsports.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">JackRabbit Sports<\/a> in Brooklyn, NY, since it opened and has taught more than one-hundred 12-week courses for beginning, intermediate, and advanced swimmers, including open water swim workshops and multi-week courses at Brighton Beach.<\/li>\n<li>He is the Head Masters Swim Coach at <a href=\"http:\/\/berkeleycarroll.org\">Berkeley Carroll<\/a> and has led daily workouts since creating the program in 2005.<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Teams<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>John is the Assistant Varsity Swim Coach for the Berkeley Carroll school in Brooklyn, NY, specializing in stroke mechanics and program design for the team.<\/li>\n<li>He has been a triathlon coach for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamintraining.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Team In Training<\/a> (TNT) since 2003 and their Brooklyn Head Triathlon Coach since its inception.<\/li>\n<li>As a coach for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brooklyntri.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brooklyn Triathlon Club<\/a> (BTC), John leads workshops on season planning,\u00a0 helps organize and coach training camps, and coaches weekly brick training sessions.<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Camps<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>John is a coach for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openskytraining.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Open Sky Training<\/a>,\u00a0 where he leads two to three weekend triathlon camps each season.<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>John has competed in triathlon and other sports at a wide range of distances including Ironman\u2122.
